The Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional
Programme includes a vision and a strategy for 2040, as well as strategic choices for the years 2014-2017. The programme was drawn up in co-operation between Uusimaa Regional Council and The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY).

Uusimaa Regional Council chairs BSSSC

Uusimaa Regional Council chairs the Baltic Sea States Subregional Co-operation (BSSSC) in 2013-2015. During the Uusimaa chairmanship BSSSC will focus on the fields of maritime, energy and climate issues, youth policy, northern and arctic dimension, cohesion policy, transport and infrastructure and culture and regional identity.
