    Finland continues as the happiest country in the world

    For the 7th year in a row, Finland ranks as the happiest country in the world in the UN World Happiness Report 2024. The findings, announced today to mark the UN’s International Day of Happiness, are powered by data from the Gallup World Poll and analysed by some of the world’s leading wellbeing scientists.

    Declaration of European Mayors signed by Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council 

    On behalf of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, our Regional Mayor Tuija Telén has signed a declaration given by European Regions and Cities to strengthen urban policy. The declaration presents concrete recommendations for the development of an impactful and ambitious EU urban policy.
