The seminar, hosted by MEPs Merja Kyllönen (Finland) and Jens Nilsson (Sweden), was organised in the context of the Connecting Europe Facility mid-term evaluation and the position paper submitted by the Nordic Regional EU Offices in Brussels.

Seminar was hosted by MEPs Merja Kyllönen and Jens Nilsson.

The joint position paper promotes the idea of extending the core network corridor structure around the Gulf of Bothnia in order to bring the main economic and transport arteries in Finland, Sweden and Norway more efficiently into EU’s transport strategy.

The seminar was moderated by Chief adviser Malla Paajanen from Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council.
