Invitation: Regional Workshop on Accessibility Needs Along and Beyond the North Sea-Baltic Corridor
Workshop is organized with the aim to elaborate a joint spatial vision on regional development, logistics and mobility of the North Sea-Baltic corridor. A spatial vision is being developed as a part of the NSB CoRe project financed by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme. Project’s mission is to enhance regional development in the Baltic Sea Region by improving the internal and external accessibility of the region along the North Sea-Baltic TEN-T corridor. For the first time, a spatial vision is being elaborated for a European Transport Network, as well as the approaches to synergize effects of common spatial and transport planning are looked for.
Workshop “Accessibility Needs Along and Beyond the North Sea-Baltic Corridor” will take place on Thursday, February 8, 11:00-15:00 in the premises of Kaunas Railway Station, M.K.Ciurlionio Str. 16. Local, regional and national authorities on spatial and transport planning are invited to join a discussion, have an input in shaping the contents of the spatial vision, share their expertise and deepened knowledge about North Sea-Baltic corridor in the Baltic States and Poland.
