Moving Conference on the move

As part of the NSB CoRe project the Senate Administration for the Environment, Transport and Climate Protection of City of Berlin has organized a „Moving Conference“ from 9th to 16th May 2018 along the North Sea-Baltic Corridor from Berlin via Poznań, Łódź, Warsaw, Kaunas, Riga, Tallinn and Helsinki to Vaasa and Umeå. The conference will take place both in scheduled trains and in special trains.

The project partners of NSB CoRe from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland, together with further railway experts and urban and regional planners, take part in the conference with about 65-70 participants.

Further participants include representatives from parliaments and representatives of organizations and associations that support the strengthening of rail transport and the strengthening of cooperation between Germany and Poland.

Particular highlights are a special train of PKP Intercity with conference car on Friday, 11th May 2018 from Łódź to Suwałki, a meeting with the members of the Management Board of RB Rail in Riga on Saturday, 12th May 2018 and a Stakeholder Seminar on the economic benefits of the Rail Baltica with Corridor Coordinator Catherine Trautmann on Monday, 14th May 2018 in Helsinki.
